Stacey and I went for a walk this morning (with the dog -- for the first and last time!) to Earthblend and back. That is two miles each way. I forgot to check the time leaving Earthblend, so I don't know the pace back.

I think, though, that we were at a 4 mile per hour pace going and maybe coming back.

I know two things from this walk. One: walking shoes are a must! Two: new socks are a must.

I can feel the weave of my socks on the bottom of my feet! Still, feels good!

Stacey wants to start a Yoga class. Sigh. I've never involved myself with Yoga. Might be fun to try. I need something more aerobic in my exercise plan, though.

I just finished the menu planning for the next week. I'll be cooking 5 dinners a week (generally) and it's good to have a plan. ;) Here's what's on the menu:

Macaroni and Cheese Lite
Eggplant-almond Enchiladas
Lasagna
Tart and Tangy Baked Beans
Stuffed Eggplant

Life seems to work better when I plan. There is more time in the day for other things s(which means, of course, less time I'm just pissing away). It also means that things get done. And in terms of food, it means more variety.

In other food news, I'm thinking about what to serve the Superbowl Crowd. Something easy, tasty, and satisfying. There will have to be beer. ;:) I guess I better get a head count! A barbecue! With hamburger, veggie burgers and veggie skewers. That's the ticket!
