I am the possibility of love and compassion in the world and a stand for transformation. I believe that all people can live joyous lives. Suffering is optional. That doesn't mean that sorrow disappears and that every moment of a happy one. It just means that what happened in the past stays in the past. That the injustice of yesterday isn't carried into tomorrow.
Last night I had the privilege of witnessing transformation. I watched as person after person declared themselves to be some possibility for the future. I was moved to tears on several occasions when all those listening to a new possibility rose in a standing ovation to celebrate a victory over the past. I was at the Landmark Education Center in San Diego on the last day of the Advanced Course. I was there to assist participants in registering for the Self Expression and Leadership Program. (I'm a "coach" in the current SELP in San Diego.)
Looking back on last evening, and on other Landmark evenings, as well as workshops and gatherings sponsored by the Human Awareness Institute I see, very clearly, the transition of Lynn from hateful, harsh cynic to teddy bear. From I'm a worthless piece of dog meat to I contribute to the sense of love, compassion and community on the planet. From Terrified that no love existed for Lynn to Generating love for everyone.
From afraid to feel anything for fear of feeling nothing to rejoicing at every feeling of sorrow, pain, happiness and love. From hopelessness to possibility. From suffering to joy. From aloneness to connectedness. From fear to compassion. From a pretty good life to a life that I love.
How do I know that this in fact is real? Because I have transformed entire communities of people. My being love and compassion in the face of confrontation and anger has altered conversations among hard-core left and right activists. I have changed the way people very close to me react to life circumstances. Through the possibility that I am, I have created an opening for people to share.
In the context of the Human Awareness Institute, I have been part of the great clearing that allows people to shift from a love is scarce model to a model of abundant love.
I lead a privileged life of service to unconditional love, soul-depth intimacy, guilt-free passion and full self expression.

What to know what I gave up? I gave up that I was not really human. I gave up that I was smarter than everyone else. I gave up that I was emotionally defective. I gave up that I wasn't loveable. I gave up being the victim of my circumstances. I mean like really giving up rather than trying to get over those feelings. I mean getting out of the conversation of victim to life's whims.
I invite you to investigate both organizations. The Human Awareness Institute where you can be in the inquiry about love, intimacy and sexuality. What do they mean, where do you sell yourself short? Where do you cheat yourself from your birthright?
Landmark Education Corporation where the inquiry is about the nature of human beings. What stops us from generating the life we want? What has us repeat some failed pattern over and over and over expecting different results?
Take a chance. Spend a little money, risk a little time. Create the life you really want. What do you have to lose?
