It was the best two out of three and it went to the third round, but I won!
Getting routing set up correctly in a firewalling machine that is also the DNS server for several domains hosted behind the firewall. Getting the right combination of routing and the proper syntax in the zone record seems to have been nearly beyond me.
Possibly because every moment I've been involved in this project, two or three people have been demanding my attention for legitimate reasons.
Anyway, the bare-bones version is up. Next, I'll get the email system finished on the server, clean up a few things on the trial website, polish the apache2 configuration for that website and switch.
In other news, a client hasn't been able to use our system for about 5 weeks. Aeire found the issue. The client's name contains an apostrophe which caused a catastrophe. Next thing to do is prevent apostrophes from reaching the software!!
