These are not all easy questions. My favorites change depending on my mood or philosophical state. I might have to give multiple answers!
1.) What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
That is one odd list of suggestions. Taken one way, I prefer printed books over any other media. Taken another way, I prefer novels for entertainment and emotional housecleaning. I prefer non-fiction/reference for mind problem solving and skill building.
2.) What is your favorite novel?
Ah that changes regular. Often with the last one read. I favorites by circumstance, too. For nostalgia reasons, I love the Foundation Trilogy and all things robotic by Asimov. I also love all things Heinlein, mostly the same reason. I recently reread all the Heinlein I could get my hands on. His social politics and mine are very different. All things Tom Robbins, especially Jitterbug Perfume followed closely by Even Cowgirls get the Blues. The Harry Potter series. The Hitch Hikers Guide group. The Scarlet Letter, Metamorphosis, Moby Dick and Gulliver's Travels. The Fifth Sacred Thing. There are others in this category, but I can't think of them at the moment.
3.) Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
Jabberwocky for sentimental reasons. And it is the only poem (of more than two lines) I ever memorized. And The Raven
4.) What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
There is nothing in this category. If I know about it and want to read it, I do. Nothing in my way about reading stuff.
5.) What are you currently reading?
Just finished the series "So You Want to be a Wizard" and have started "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" again.
