We had a computer crap out this morning at Moffitt & Associates. We had one crappy spare to put in it's place. We also have five computers that don't work for various reasons.
I just spent $500 at the Chip Merchant. For that, I bought three motherboards, two power supplies, three 512k memory cards, and three IDE harddrives.
My first computer was a real piece of crap and cost $1000. My second computer was slightly better and cost $1000. My next two computers were progressively better and cost more than $1K each.
If the price of hardware keeps dropping, manufacturers will be paying us to take their equipment.
