We have a M$ Access table that lists all the courts in California that we might bring matters before. All well and good.

When a new legal case is opened, a selection box is created based on the country in which the case is to be brought. That drop down lists the courts that serve that county.

Is that list presenting in alphabetical order? No. The table gives an "index" number to each court. That is the order in which the courts are presented. It is also how the court is "attached" to the case. That means I can't just reorder the index numbers when I add a new court.

Crap.

You can modify the sql statement that underlies the select box so that it sorts alphabetically by court name.

Yeah. And if the code was clean, it would be simple fix. :)

I'll get it done eventually, though. It is a very low priority on my million-itm list.
