A problem was brought to my attention yesterday. Once in a while the software attributes information to the wrong client. I've been told about this before, but with insufficient detail to start troubleshooting.
Yesterday I was given the clue I needed.
Someone -- without a brain, it seems -- used a random number generator to create "unique" file names.
At least it will be easy to fix.
