I am not a fan of marriage.  Really.  Both my marriages were committed for legal reasons and both were Navy related.  From the time I was old enough to understand the ramifications of civil marriage, I've hated the idea.

That said, why on Earth am I thinking about it six times a day? 

It seems inevitable that Stacey and I will end up married.  I am partly thrilled and partly appalled by that idea.   Sigh.

I don't know. I used to be all against marriage. Then I got married (grin). Sure it's an archaic institution based upon the notion of women as property. But it's also a cultural and social ritual. I've chosen to focus on the liturgy as a celebration and acknowledgement of my relationship.

Plus, marriage is hot!
