It has just come to me that some people reading my journal might be fans of Marilyn Monroe. That being the case, I should point out a bit of work I'm doing for the Balboa Theatre Foundation. They are raising money to complete the renovation of the 1500 seat theater in downtown San Diego.
The fundraiser? "Marilyn at 80: Some Still Like it Hot" Three events that are local to San Diego and a rather large eBay auction with signed photos donated by the Edward Weston Collection.
Yesterday at a meeting, I saw a piece that isn't going to be sold. It is Marilyn's one gold record. I'm not a fan and I thought it was cool to see.
