Last night was the completion night for the now completed Self Expression and Leadership Program in which I played the part of Head Coach.

All the participants had the opportunity to stand before the crowd and declare their futures. It is exciting every time.

People who were to nervous/shy/frightened to speak in front of a group, stood there proudly, making eye contact, and telling us of the affect they are having on the quality of life for people they know.

People who thought they couldn't make a difference in anyone's life including their own, told us about the great projects they created and the hundreds of people involved in each. Projects as "simple" as changing the tone of conversation in the workplace to creating a venue of women's field hockey on the west coast to creating peace.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

It is for moments like these that I continue to volunteer in Landmark Education and the Human Awareness Institute. Both bring out the best in people without telling them what that has to look like.

Life is good. Scheduled to overflowing, but really, really good.

Love,
Lynn
