My body has several issues that are annoying. I have various numb and tingly places, aches and pains, and allergies. My eye sight is poor and getting slowly poorer. My right ear has uneven inner/outer pressure all the time -- sometimes painfully so. I do not suffer heat well at all.
The list goes on. They are all minor (except, possibly, my eyesight). They are all manageable. And they are just annoyances.
On the other hand, my body has several things going for it that really make all the annoyances seem like nothing at all.
I rarely get the common cold. I've never had the flu. Viruses just don't seem to get a change in my body. This is worth a mint!
I also heal fast. Very fast.
I think my ability to heal and my lack of virus-caused illnesses are related to the constant allergy response. Fine. Doesn't matter.
Healing from wounds of the flesh (does not count things like my arthritis, unfortunately) quickly is a great trait.
Stacey, on the other hand, heals slowly. Very slowly. When a doctor tells her "a week, maybe two" she figures four to six weeks.
I'm happy to be at the other end of that!
