I really don't know why I am not living in Seattle or even on the coast of Northern California.
My ideal climate is really 65-75 degrees and cloudy skies. Too much sun or too warm and I'm in big trouble. For instance, right now it is bright sun, 80 degrees, and 50% relative humidity. I am miserable.
I am also on my way to the swimming pool. First I have to figure out how to shade part of it. Maybe it's late enough that some of the deep end is shaded. Hmm. I'll look.
Shade or no shade, the pool is my next stop. (maybe a big straw hat to wear in the pool? Yeah. That's going on the shopping list.
Love.

Stacey has several ties here that would be difficult to cut. Her business, her sister, her father (in nursing care) and her eldest is probably coming back to San Diego for Law School.
Then there's me. I have been here so long, moving will seem really weird.
One of my complaints from childhood and through my Navy time was that I had no roots. I have some here, so I'm pretty well stuck.
On about the fourth or fifth "hot" day in a row, though, and I'm ready to chuck everything for a nice igloo.
Love.
