it has been more than ten years since I last purchased a new suit. I don't like buying suits 'cause I wear them so seldom that on a per wearing basis they are expensive! This one wasn't too bad, though. Less, in fact, than I paid last time but it is a suit of far less quality.
It's fine, though, like all my other suits, this one will meet with accidents before it wears out from wearing.
Why am I buying a suit? Well, I could have rented a tux for the upcoming wedding, but it would have cost almost as much as the suit I bought. And who knows, I might need a suit again some day.
