Stacey and a few folks she knows are planning -- not yet fully committed - to walk in the three-day, sixty-mile fundraiser for breast cancer research.

My first thought was "no big deal, I could do that." My second thought was "I'm an idiot if I think I could do that right now!"

If Stacey decides to this and begins training for it, I'll train, too. I've been looking over the suggested training schedule from their web site. I'm thinking I've never been as fit as I'd be if I completed that regimen. I'm many ways, I'm looking forward to it, but that doesn't mean that I'm not afraid I'll fail at it.

As for the walk itself, I think I'll pass. A few years ago, I crewed on the Challenge Ride both years it was in existence. Jan and I slept in her Adventure Wagon (special VW camper). It was a hard three days. It was much harder on the folks riding the bicycles. I was thinking I might crew instead, but I'm leaning toward "not."
