I've taken on several projects around the house. I have a long list that Stacey was slowly working on. I've changed the priority order of that list. Today (and for the next several days) I working on the keep the water out of the garage project.
It involves digging up a lot of lawn that has acted like a levee. I don't think the lake that is sometimes the side yard was ever named, but now that the levee has been removed, the lake is just a part of history.
I found what I first thought was a part of an old sprinkler system, but when I finished uncovering it, it turned out to be a three foot length of heavy cable. Obviously left over from original construction.
I don't intend to work all day. I intend to spend a lot of the late afternoon napping so that i am "fresh" for RHPS tonight.
