Stacey and I are working on one room at a time.

The carpets are in and the furniture is back (more or less) to the rooms in which it belongs.

The first room to complete (and it nearly is now) is the shared office. We bought a conference table to use as a desk. I just finished putting it together. The Acer flat monitor that Heather bought for me makes it possible for us to work on opposite sides of the table. And we can have a five person conference if we need.

Next, we will take on the living room and the family room. The living room is just a furniture purchase. We think a U-shaped sectional or something like it. The living room will probably seat around ten people. More if they want to get cosy on the floor. It will be great to have movie/football (Amy?) parties. The TV is a huge HDTV model. Maybe 50 inches.

The family room is a different issue. It's off the kitchen. It has the fireplace. It also has a smaller HDTV. The problem, though, is a lack of a dinning room. I've been living without one for years and I'm really sick of it. :) I want to have small (a dozen or fewer people) dinner parties. It was an idea she had for a long time but it never happened. Looks like we might make it happen. I hope so. I'm really looking forward to creating a dinning room. We won't get it done before the first dinner I'm having in early September.

Our bedroom is nearly complete, but if we create the living room, the other HDTV will go to our room. that means we would need to rearrange the room again.

Over the next few weeks, we will be clearing out the garage. A lot of stuff out there. Many trips to Good Will or the landfill.

If I were any happier I think I would explode.
