It's been well over ten years since I was a working electronics technician. It's amazing how much trouble I just got into wiring a new phone line into my house. sigh.
In other news, it is installed and working. One more step in the growth of Ngender Consulting Group.
In other geek news, I have no idea how my ip-less virtual mail servers were working. They aren't working now. I looked at the source code for the virtual pop server and it should never have worked. Time to rewrite a bit of C++, which I haven't messed with in 15 years.
In further geek news. The cast only site of Crazed Imaginations uses phpNuke 5.6 as the html generator. When I upgraded the server, it broke. I knew what the problem was but couldn't find enough php documentation to actually fix it. Bless chris-au on the php-Nuke forums. I owe him dinner and a movie (RHPS, of course). After movie sex can be negotiated.
Even with all this... LIFE IS GREAT!
