Another hurdle hurdled. I have never had any problems talking to a crowd of people Unless I have a fixed (or nearly) fixed speech to deliver. It takes me forever to learn something so well that I can deliver it without thinking about it. If I have to think about it, all I can think of is the thinking about it and the lines/speech goes away. So, I delivered the rev. Didn't screw up the lines. I did get the feeling some of the cast thought some of my delivery was a bit slow. Be that as it may. No one said "that was awful and you will never get to do that again." It was fun and I will want to do it again and again.
On the other hand, Sexy Lighting Bitch is really GREAT. I'm getting the cues down faster than I thought I would. The only drawbacks to SLB is being in the balcony. No one can hear us doing callbacks nor am I close enough to the rest of the cast to actually see them perform. If I were watching the show from there, I would bring opera glasses! Everything has it's downsides. I intend to be an excellent SLB.
It is going to take a very long time before I get bored with RHPS.
