I have twice played Ralph Hapschatt (Ralph's and Betty's wedding open the show) in our cast. I was standing in the right place at the right time for the first and grabbed by Amy for the second (A special show for KBG radio). It's a short bit and the actor playing Brad can easily direct an neophite Ralph during the show. It's hard to screw up that part. We sometimes use audience memebers for Ralph and Betty.
This week, I have been asked to be the preshow Reverend. It's a part I want to do. All alone directing an audience participation segment of preshow. Though the segment has a standard set of lines and call backs, it closes the preshow and can leave the audience up or down.
I'm a bit nervous.
After the Reverend, I will go back to learning Sexy Lighting Bitch 'cause I'm a techie at heart!
