I now have some understanding of what the Halloween weekend will be like. I was a lighting techie for the midnight show last night. And moved sets again (but other folks did the bulk of it at the second show). Got home VERY tired. Four shows on Halloween weekend. I think it will really we a weakend.
I am going to really like being a Sexy Lighting Bitch. I will probably learn and play roles, and I do want to do the rules and the rev for preshow. Especially the Rev. But my heart lies in the tech world. Always has.
And Amy wants a clock/coffin for Riff's opening of Time Warp. It would be pretty simple except that it has to fold up pretty flat and not weigh very much. Still thinking about how to do that!
One big reason I want to get Ngender Consulting Group to generate a reasonable income: I don't want to give up Rocky for a "job." I want to be able to schedule. But I need more income. I almost regret giving my LLP income over to Aeire.
Crushes going strong. At the after show Denny's Experience, I figured out a way to talk about my crushes that people can understand. Almost always, my crushes have no expectations of reciprocity or consummation. Usually there are no expectations at all. So there's no flavor of unrequited love in most of them. I rarely have the "if only" experience. I just enjoy the feelings of being in love with people. In fact, I am generally surprised when an Object d' Crush crushes me back because I am not looking for it. :)
Teased Cute with things like Ex-Cute and So Yesterday's Cute. Kate was frank (rather than Frank) with cute and suggested she find a new shtik. cute does wear thin after awhile. And as a person gets older it is more difficult to pull it off. I had thought it was a part she was playing up rather than a way she was trying to be for real. She is cute when she is being cute. At other times she strikes me as a complete, well-rounded, bright person mature well beyond her years. She loves RHPS and that movie certainly isn't a cute thing. My Little Ponies are a cute thing.
Squeak played Frank at both shows. He took over for another cast member who was simply too exhausted to play it. Even though he was tired, he through himself into the role with characteristic flair.
The show looks a lot different from the lighting balcony. I wish I had known that weeks ago. That is the place to be to learn the blocking and the prop/set movement stuff. I will spend time up there even when I am not learning Sexy Lighting Bitch.
I slightly damaged the Rocky tank twice last night. Nothing that isn't easily fixed, but I felt like a grade A klutz.
There are four Lynn-referenced categories of people in Crazed Imaginations. Those I love dearly (I'm easy, cheap, but discriminating), those I really like, Those I don't know yet. And the few that rub me raw with every gesture and word. It is good practice for me. I don't know many folks in the forth category and I need practice in just being with folks whose opinions, attitudes and bearing are so completely different than mine.

It's interesting to notice the times people try to dissuade my positive attitude toward someone or someone's presentation. I am not easily dissuadable anymore. :)
