Tonight, someone I love reminded me of a plan of hers in which I become a "responsible party" in her life. I'm to be a trusted conduit.

To many people, this would seem a common thing to ask of one's friends. And I have asked it of others from time to time. I'm simply to have the contact information in two directions if communications is critical. And to make the necessary calls as circumstances dictate. It's not a position that requires much decision making. :)

But. It is a TRUSTED position.

I'm almost in tears. Now, that's sappy. :)
