Tired and cranky

I'm not feeling very good. Allergies at one end and some seriously severe gas at the other. I'm not sure why I should be tired. I haven't done much today. Maybe that's enough.

Anyway.

I spent a couple of hours researching OpenBSD firewalls tonight. I'm having a problem on a machine that is NATing and Packet Filtering and bridged. No matter how I strip the rules down, pfctl tells me I need to debug urgently. And worst of all, nothing is getting through.

I KNOW this can be done. I just don't see what the hell is wrong. Tomorrow, I'll start over. But it's a case of messing with a firewall from outside, again. Sigh. I'll drive to the machine if necessary.

I'm off to bed soon. I hope I feel better in the AM.

I still want a magic wand. Sigh.

I watched the pilot (on dvd) of Dead Like Me. Quite good.
