Okay. I've now spent more than three hours trying to get ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lizetta's computer to answer up on her DSL. I think I've done every combination of things I can try.
The two most promising in dealing with the DSL modem was to consider it in bridge mode or as a one line router with an IP of 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Neither seemed to work. Nor did it answer up for a dhcp request. I'm pretty sure it did the last time I tried this. Sigh.
