Although there hasn't been an official announcement (and I am waiting for that before I get really happy), Aeire and I were accepted into Crazed Imaginations. I'm a happy camper.
I know why I have been talking about "just" being a stage hand and sexy lighting bitch. I have concerns (some are outright fears) of not being able to learn any of the parts well enough to pull off a whole performance. At least, I don't have stage fright.
I was thinking of what parts there are and what I might do to get my feet wet. I think I would like to be the Reverend. I have neat Nigerian Robes that could be really cool costuming for that part.
I'm excited. I'm nervous. I'm going to feel underfoot. I'm probably going to appear really, really confused. :)
I love my life.

being in cast
For the first 6 weeks you are in cast, you have to go through the probation period...and help out with tech (lights, props, costumes, security, etc...) We use to have a lot of people join cast, who were really enthusiastic...learn a part, play it...and then leave off the face of the earth. So we envoked the 6 week rule. Just to make sure you are gonna stick around for more than that. After your 6 weeks are up, you can play any part that you want. It really isn't that hard to do a part. The only ones I could see being tricky are Rules and trixie...because you have nothing behind you to rely on if you forget. Plus, you have seen the movie so many times it will be a piece of cake. It was quite funny...because I AM the Magenta Nazi, and everyone and their mom wants to play Magnta, making it really hard to yell it out...I was concerned about aerie's (sp?) application when she said that she would like to perform Magenta...I was joking around saying..."yea, maybe something like Columbia or Rocky or something...not Magenta." and Amy was all, "Have you seen her?" "yes..." "Did you not notice the big red hair?" "Yea yea yea...I know..." Yea, I think she would kick ass, but I didn't want to say that. I am excited that we have new cast members, and I read one of their livejournals, so I am gettin' down with Lynn...
Oh yes, and be prepared for some clever nickmanes..
Re: being in cast
Besides, I like the energy around the cast. And, of course, I have several crushes going on. And I really like being totally in crush.

I got excited there for a moment. I thought you wrote "tickle" not heckle.
I'll settle for any attention :)
Have you worn the skirt anywhere yet? How did people react to it?
