Whew. The family meeting happened. The anxiety subject was discussed -- money -- and handled well enough.
Now, an hour later, I find that with some of the distractions out of the way, my underlying worry was the family unit. I guess I've been worried that it was going to implode or explode or something. It didn't.
We talked about the nature of intentional family, reached an understanding and moved on to mundane stuff. It took some time, but a clearing was had by all.
I'm a happier camper.
