There are very few household chores as simple as replacing the flapper or the toilet seat on an American-style toilet. It's just not a problem. Right? Of course right.
Well. Not for this model toilet. The tank and bowl is one piece. The flapper is under an overhang. That means that one puts the new flapper in by feel. The nuts for the toilet seat are also in the tank. And underwater most of the time. Not a big problem as long as the last seat wasn't installed with metal hardware.
One sign of getting old may be that any and all routine repairs are conducted on units that were designed by morons on acid. :)
