Okay then.
Down to two possibilities for Amy's computer. The one I've already mentioned and that I intend to test for the rest of today. And the other.
I ask myself what is different here than at Amy's house. As far as I can tell, only two things. I've taken the loose covers off the memory access area and I'm not on PPP over Ethernet. I can test the former but not the latter from my house.
If it comes down to that, the test will be to see if it locks up on Amy when she doesn't have the ethernet wire hooked into the NIC. At the moment, I'm not sure either way on that test. :( I'll have to think that one out when the time comes.
