Hi Guys,
I am a long-time fan of KDE. And I want to praise you for your constant attention to this windowing environment. I know you put in a ton of hours from which you are not paid. So, praise to you.
I have a couple of things to contribute to KDE 4.0 development.
1. The person, team, committee, baboon troupe who thought up the new default environment should be put up against the wall and shot. It is slow, failed the "intuitive" test. It is worse than M$ Vista! Further, applications/utilities that I use all the time have been changed in ways that reduce functionality.
2. My other suggestion it to not let one single person escape the roundup of jerkoffs who thought the world needed another slow, messy, overly complicated, animated, cutesy environment over which the user has little control and administrators have fewer tools.
Gosh, guys. Thanks for the KDE 4.0.
Now. I'm going to remove 4.0 and install 3.5. Thanks a lot.
The only saving grace is that the newest gnome is even worse. You guys are swell!
Love from a KDE fan.
