pool

It is nearly noon. It is nearly 90 degrees. It is nearly time to put on my swimming togs and leap into the 80 degree water. 80 degree air feels a lot warmer than 80 degree water.

At the moment, though, the air conditioner is running and the office vent is now aimed to blow directly on me. It is wonderful. ;)

We have rented the Lyceum Theater (downtown, in front of Horton Plaza, at the edge off the Gas Lamp District) for Saturday night, July 22, 2006 for a special showing of the original, all singing and dancing, audience participation, live floor show, rock and roll musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show!

pool II

I closed off the vents to most of the house in an effort to get two of the upstairs bedrooms to cool down. I had little success. By 7pm, most of the house felt like a walk-in freezer. It seemed only right, then, to use the pool a second time today.

It seemed warm compared to the house. 'Course I had the hot tub up to 103, too. :)

This second trip around include three friends. That was good.

my backup server has a crapped out hard drive. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow with part of my day.
