My job this morning was easy to manage. 45 minutes posing, 15 minutes off. 45 minutes is a long time to pose if it's the same pose. But this wasn't. 1.5 minute poses for the first set then 5 minute poses for the second and third. That class has a student who annoys me to know end. And the teacher spends a lot of time with that student. I spent time thinking about Riff-Raff. :)

I was going to Disneyland this week on an off day. Turns out, I don't have one. Well, Friday. But that always seems like a bad idea.

There's a series of breakdowns to declare. I'm just not all that thrilled about declaring them. Actually acknowledging that a plan is going to fail without intervention requires that I intervene. And it's really good idea to intervene because the consequences of failure are a lot worse than the effort it will take to prevent failure. My 2 year old is busy screaming, "NO!" and my three year old follows up with "I don't wanna!"

Doesn't matter, though, I'm gonna. :)

Honoring my feelings is never a good idea. It's funny that I still do it from time to time. Feeling them, yes. That is always a good idea. Pushing them aside or putting a lid on them will only cause all sorts of future problems.

But honoring them also causes future problems.

No honoring of feelings today. Lots to feel. I'll ignore nothing.

I went to the movies tonight. Other than Rocky, I rarely go to the movies. For the price of a ticket, popcorn and a soda, I could by a dvd of the movie in a few months. But I wanted a treat.

I saw The Incredibles. It was really cute. Several really good laughs. Great animation. Really great.

However, the new "preshow" stuff is maddening. I got there very early, as I tend to do, so I got doused with the pre-preshow. It looked like it was generated on with presentation software that has way too many bells and whistles. They used every slide, fade, wipe and other special features. Over and over and over and over and over.

Good movie, though. :)
