I have no idea what I've posted about, so I'll post about it all.

Saturday was Pride. We made a "float" out of a large flatbed truck. Two great banners by Nicole (with some preliminary help from several of us) were stretched about the sides of the truck using PVC pipe. Tom and I constructed it from Tom's design. It was a good one. Then several us built a rope lifeline around the bed of the truck so it would pass safety muster.

Then the long, long, long wait. The parade kicked off at 11am, but we were contingent 166. It was about 2 hours later before we started moving. The parade was nicely paced this year. That means our walking contingent could actually walk rather than jog or run. Whew!

Then I slept. From about 6pm until about 7am. But not well. I hurt my knee Saturday and it woke me up each time I moved it. I'm tired and hoping for restful sleep tonight.

Then up to Rockystock. I rode with Amy and Guen (her dog). We talked about all sorts of stuff. I like talking to Amy. The topics weren't always fun, though. But that's part of the value of friends. A big part.

Rockystock was fun. I was the Guen watcher. This was really good. I'm having the "I want a dog" feelings again. Taking care of Guen from time to time satisfies that desire. Good thing!

I took some pictures that I'll put on CI's website later tonight. There was much horsing around, softball and talking. A good, mostly relaxing day.

Tonight will be more sleep. Better sleep I hope.

But first, I'll deal with the pictures, then I'm going to get something to eat. I'm starving.

Love.
