I'm out of the slump. I'm wondering, though, how much credit can be given to not worrying about the Geo anymore?

Worry is a pretty worthless thing in which to invest time and energy. :)

Picked up the Geo, ran it through a car wash and thought about how long since I've had a car payment. That took a lot of sting out of the repair bill. At today's cost for a car, the repair was about the same as three or four months of car payments.

That's not bad.

It runs better, too.

I know a whole lot of really, really great people. I mean spectacular, extraordinary people. Brilliant, talented and fun. And with no exception that I've been able to find, they are all, like me, struggling with one thing or another.

Where do we get the idea that everyone else is having a great life and it is only we poor few who are receiving the coal for christmas? Damn strange that. Damn Strange.

I love my friends. Each and every one of them.
