awful. The last time I felt even close to that bad was when I had severe enough food poisoning that the Navy flew me from a ship at sea to the hospital.

This morning, I'm on my way to... yes, the Navy Hospital. Hmm.

I also know what it must feel like to eat a whole bag of "fat free" potato chips!

Oddly enough, after close to 36 hours without food, I'm not hungry. Not even a little. I still feel bloated from all the water I drank yesterday. :( I don't see how that can be, though.

[livejournal.com profile] _greg will be here soon to collect me. I'm not to be unattended for this visit, 'cause they are going to sedate me heavily.

For folks at low risk of colon cancer, there is a better test. I'm not low risk. :(

Life goes on.

And I have a beautifully healthy colon. So healthy, in fact, that the doctor moved me from "Elevated Risk" to "Minor Risk" and said there would be no point to another screening for 10 years.

That is the end point of my physical. It was a very complete physical. And the only things of concern are cholesterol and apnea. Meds for the first and another sleep study (CPAP tests) for the other.

I am fine.

I am also committed to losing 35 pounds, building stamina and increasing upper body strength.

Someday I will play Eddie and I will want to lift Columbia!

It's a good morning. I'm in love and I'm healthy.

And I'm looped on Demerol.
