Daddy, please take the T-Bird away...

Last night at Burbon Street was fun. My daughter, hdobbs, got tipsy enough to have a good time even with her dad around. She danced with nexiv and veggiebelle and played up the sexy bits of some of the movies. It's not a side I get to see of her. It was much more an adult-adult time than a dad-daughter time. I liked that. However, she played pool for a bit with an obnoxious drunk who then followed her around. It was funny, then it wasn't, then it was. The drunk followed her home after our group closed the bar.

It did take us a bit of time to get out of the bar, though. Someone fell down just outside the door. He injured himself in the fall, so the door was blocked for a bit.

Tonight is a New Year's party at Kates. By definition, it will last until after midnight.

nexiv invited me and veggiebelle to Sabbat next Saturday. I accepted even though I was sober. Three outings of a party nature in a week? I'm pretty sure that is a record for me. I don't know if this is a "Go me" moment or not.

I'm up earlier than I would like 'cause I have a downtown meeting pretty soon. But I think I will sleep this evening before Kate's party. Maybe even if I haven't planned to. :)
