Have you noticed how much more we learn about the person(s) making up the questions than we do about ourselves or our friends?

The quiz (The Poly Geek Quiz) that prompted this has a Britney Spears slam in it and it reminded me of the Rocky Call Back.

That was, of course, the royal we.

Nope; it's not that way for me. I don't think I learn much at all from the quiz questions, nor from the canned answers. What I seem to find gives me new information about people is their reaction and exposition about the quiz and its answers (and, for that matter, its questions).

No, but I've noticed that most of the time people don't follow up to other people's quizzes (I have also noticed this on mailing lists where people post quizzes), and I suspect most people would rather answer a quiz than read someone else's answers.

For the essay type quizes, I generally read the repsonses of my friends and of people I find interesting in some way. But I don't have anything to say or ask.

I would rather read the answers than answer. But it is because the questions mostly don't seem relevent to my life.
