It's Rocky Night Again.
I have always loved the movie -- at least from the first time I saw it. I had avoided the Midnight Shows for years partly because it would interfere with my enjoyment of the movie. and partly because people scared me.
I love the Midnight Show.
All kinds show up for this show. It seems to mostly be young people taking the opportunity to self-express in ways they probably feel they can't the rest of the time. Some Old Farts show up (so I won't feel alone!) to watch and remember.
Mostly it's a crazed way to poke a stick in the eye of so-called middle-class morality.
I have invited several dozen "main stream" people to the show over the last 3 months. No takers. Odd, isn't it. None of them had ever been but they KNEW what it was about. Just your average citizens of Denton. Hope they never get a flat....
Let's all do the Time Warp again!
