I like being helpful in areas where I think I have little to contribute.

Mostly as a factor or age, I know something about the "old style" car batteries that nobody much uses anymore.

I was able to help out some young friends whose car had died. Their battery was not of the sealed type. It was out of water.

Yay for old farts!

You have no idea how much that means to me. I've been absolutely sick with worry (perhaps not the most helpful reaction, I know...) but I have, and having you fix it so simply (and cheaply) made my ENTIRE DAY a success.
