Who and why of my friends lists.
_greg: It was never my experience that one person could be a complete stand for the greatness of another until you showed me the way. How could we not be partners in creating the world in which everyone wins?
aeire: Extraordinary artist. Sexy. Part of my family. This is a good thing. :)
blueelephant: Fellow Linux geek! I feel like you are my brother in cast. You give love and praise easily, too. It makes my day to see you.
cikevin: You are too cool for words. Although that has never stopped me from talking. I have a fondness for bright cynics. You qualify. :)
crazedamanda: Talent. And I see more of it all the time.
crazedjanet: Life has been tough for you lately and you maintain a sweet, loving way of being. I like being around you. It just feels good.
dycee: I have this thing for brilliance. :) In all the ways you are a teenager, there are a few extraordinary ways you are not. One is talent for making an old fart feel like a peer. That's cool. :)
elvengrrl: You're an all around sweetheart. Always looking for the balance between self and others. Trying out new things, finding the boundaries and moving back and forth. Even when it feels really risky, you push on your edges. That's courageous and it is very attractive.
erraticsporadic: I see you as extremely confident and approachable. As if nothing scares you. I know that everyone has their fears, so I see you as a shining example of "walking with the dragons." You have a zest for life and a willing to through yourself into it. It was cool watching you rehearse for South Park. Moments of embarrassment would come and go, but nothing got in the way.
esyla: You were/are one of those rare "instant crushes" that I have now and then. It makes me feel good just to be connected to you electronically. I have barely avoided saying "facepalm."
fairgoldberry: The newest addition to my friends list. And it is a bit difficult getting used to the difference in style between the two forums. We don't always agree, but I think we are closer in philosophy than me and anyone else on xForums. I think it was the second post of yours that I read that tripped my Crushometer.
fakeplasticjoey: Even though you are really sure I don't want to be you when I grow up, I do. Yes, life has handed you some serious shit. Yes, somethings will never be what they could be. Nothing different there. But you have an ease with people that it took me 30 years to get to. And I am still not half the leader you are. I'm still not half as present to people as you are. Nor will I ever have a tenth of your artist talent. You live life with intensity and passion. I struggle to achieve that. It is easy to love you (even though it might not be easy to be in love with you or in a relationships with you :) )
filmbuff: You are a rock. Once you said you worried that you give yourself away too easily. I think though that you just don't scream out an angry stop. You are gentle and loving even when you are frustrated and upset. Pretty cool.
firecat: You stood there in the face of my fears and held up the mirror until I could see. Thanks for my life. Thanks for my spiritual philosophy. How could I not love you. All that and sexy, too.
graveyardgreg: You have talent. It leaks out. Pull the damn cork already and spray the world with the gaming genius that is Greg.
hdobbs: It would be a long, long list to put down all the reasons I love you. Let's just say anyone who had me as a father in my dark days and hasn't written me off is a keeper. :) I feel exceptionally privileged to be your dad.
iceraver: Easy going, geeky buddy. Bringer of boyish glee in girlish stuff. The other speaker of "shiny" in the household. A member of my diverse family. A good thing.
lizetta: The Entire Reason I Joined Cast. HOT, brilliant and in all ways an exemplar of that which I find "interesting" about people. And I am thoroughly enjoying our growing friendship. In some subtle ways we are alike in history and culture. I feel at home in many ways around you. Awkward and adolescent in other ways. But it is all good. :)
maatling: A kindred spirit -- always working to have your "doing" aligned with your "being."
manhattan: A treasure found while mining the friends list of pdi. Hooked by stories of Mystic, kept by a deepening friendship that has growing importance. Patiently awaiting a visit by the three of you to Sunny South Southern California. :)
nexiv: Completely hooked. Wanna keep me as a pet? Affectionate, loving and in love with life. I am blessed to have you in my life.
patched: I don't think I've ever met a young man so completely clear about what he wants for his emotional future. And so unwilling to settle. And what did it get you? Danae! I love you both.
pdi: It disturbs me sometimes in all the ways we are alike. :) We have our hands on the same prize and we keep each other from missing the point. I like that. Thanks for taking a chance on me for the family you were creating. I love you.
phaerie: You are a complete sweetie. Our circles touch but don't overlap and I am disappointed in that. I just don't know how to create more overlap. "Move closer to town" doesn't seem to be the answer. :)
pleonastic: Yep. Still in love with the Fish. For all the reasons I have ever stated. Another case of "brilliant person" I am privileged to call Sweetie. When I think of you, I remember just how much I love my life.
porcinea: My first Net Crush. A shining exemplar of all things cool about speaking up for what one believes. Speaking about love, life, sex and spirituality AND having several thousands of people consider you a goddess. I'm not done crushing over you yet. :)
satindoll: A streak of melancholia doesn't slow you down. Nope. You love people, you want to know how they and you tick. Always looking for the brightness of tomorrow while grabbing todays candle. And through that runs a feeling of sadness that you don't ignore. It is good to actually feel what one is experiencing. I feel warm and soft around you.
serpens: (He's not really in Australia anymore) But he is one of the 20 Aussies I know. And I like them all. For a quiet guy, he seems to command attention. Another of the brilliant people in my life.
shaktiqueen: I learned something great about women from this one. :) They like sex and it is good that they like sex. I'm glad I learned that. Wish I had learned it when I was 14 instead of 44.
sherluv: Yet another person of brilliance in my life. And a partner in create a world where love rules. More skills than one person is allowed. :)
soylentamanda: People with two journals. Honestly! :)
sqloveslave: Stud muffin. sigh. Fully taken by another beauty. Too bad. You are a high energy Love Generator. I want them both for my own purposes. Bwahahahaha... er. hm. okay. I'm better now.
taintedimage: More with the two (three actually) journals... :)
talbon: Family still. Always.
theflamingchikn: A cutie with a crush on one of my crushes. Good thing I'm not the jealous type.
veggiebelle: Another "instant crush" people who is turning out to be a really good friend. And yet more brilliance for my life. (it might be my biggest skill, collecting brilliant people. :)
xxnekojinxx: It's not exactly crush feelings. It is something else I don't have a name for. Something stronger, actually. I just know that someday I will feel a heavy sadness that we have gone separate ways without really having walked on the path together.
