A 40-year tradition

Yep. It's another long standing event in Southern California that I hadn't heard of before. Not surprising since I don't look for "events" to get my something-to-do ideas. This could have been spread all over pages of the Union Tribune and I'd never see it.

The event is The Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach, California. This year it runs from June 30 to September 3.

Stacey has gone nearly every year for more than 20 years. She raves about it. We will be going up soon. I just don't know how soon. Maybe we'll make a two-day trip and go to Disneyland, too.

Love.

wow, laguna beach still has some artists left among all the rich white folk!

(i presume the art isn't all created from sawdust, but it was a funny image anyway.)

The Sawdust Festival is great... think all of the booths at the fair with an artistic flair! If you have the chance to see the Pagent of the Masters, do it; I think you would love it!
