Yes. I would love it if my life were simpler. Doesn't matter than it really can't get any simpler.

I would love it if my relationships were simpler. Doesn't matter than they really can't get any simpler.

I would love it if I weren't having a "people are assholes" moment. I'm remembering why I stopped listening to the news.

Let's teach non-science in schools and taser children who dare to defy us. I also think we should bring back work houses. We spend a lot of money on children, I think they owe us four or five hours of honest work every day.

Let's see what we can do about old people, too. It costs a lot of public money to keep those lazy retired people in aspirins.

Hmm. I know. Let's draft the children and old people. I'm sure the military could use them to clear roadside bombs and to test for the presence of booby traps. Hell, we need thousands of people just to put drapes over all the nude art in America, not to mention the rest of the world.

When we interrogate Taliban leaders, we should ask HOW to go about destroying offending art, ripping the guts out of education, making baby factories out of women, and suppressing non-conformist religions. Oh, and we should ask them how they justified torture.

We might have to stop torturing them long enough for them to answer, though. I'm not sure god will let us stop. I mean, if we aren't doing god's dirty work, we won't get rewarded with a peaceful future.

One must kill and destroy in order to live and create. No, really. Just ask anyone who is sure that vengeance is their god-given mission. Hey, George? ....
