Paper handling equipment has always fascinated me. Everything from the simplest document feeder to the most sophisticated auto-stuffing equipment has held my attention since I was a young boy. I loved tractor-feed printers, too.
We print checks at Moffitt & Associates. Nearly everything we do with the courts has a court form and a small check. We print hundreds a day from an old Epson LQ-750 dot matrix printer. For the last two days, that printer has had a terrible time feeding the checks through. They are catching on something or binding up in some way.
I've finally swapped it out with another printer that seems to handle paper well. But I don't understand what is causing the jams. Everything looks the same. Everything looks clean.
It just doesn't take much in the paper handling universe to bring everything to a halt.
In other news, I still love my truck.

I'm a little odd about birthday (or any other anniversary) celebrations. I don't participate in them. More specifically, I'm not interested in mine. I just don't think about birthdays. We have enough employees here that we celebrate a couple of bdays a month on average. Cake, card signing, and singing. Bah!
That said, Happy Birthday,
lizetta!
