After telling the children that they could not have a party or gathering or anything else they might call it last night, we got up this morning to a party mess and a broken kitchen faucet.

Rachel Moffitt is officially on the Israeli national softball team. Exciting? Yes.
Here's how it's going to work (we think). Rachel et al will be going to Israel (expenses paid) over winter break for team bonding and practices.
There is a European tournament in Italy in the summer that half the women will be part of. The winner gets a spot in the Olympics in Beijing. The next summer games will not include softball, so this is Rachel's last and only shot.
Stacey and I have decided that we will be going to Italy for that tournament if Rachel is playing 'cause we might not get to go to Beijing.
Still, even though I am not a big sports fan, it is exciting to know someone who is playing at that calibre. She hasn't played softball in two years and she outplayed many of the woman who are currently on NCAA Division I teams.
