Rachel left the house (filled with young women and dogs) at about 3am. She took one of the cars and both sets of keys. Nobody knows where she went or why. Stacey and I are stranded.

Now this would be bothersome the first time, irritating the second, and frustrating the third. Every time she comes home for a visit, she flies. And each time we have a big problem with the car keys.

I will keep my set with me or hidden the next time she is home.

{edit} just found her but she says she has only one set of keys. That means she has really lost another set of keys. And that means about $500.

Oh, and the house stinks of dog crap. I don't actually find any though. We might just have had a house full of gassy dogs.

I've had the cast camera (again) for a couple of weeks. Last week I retrieved the pictures from the camera through the memory reader on my HP7410. It was SLOW. Very, very slow.

Today, I fired up my trusty gtkam and discovered it won't read the new camera. Damn.

Just for the hell of it, I clicked "open" on the Konqueror alert and it worked. So in the GUI file manager, which I never use, I simply clicked a few buttons and all the image files moved swiftly from the camera to my hard disk. FAST. Very, very fast.

I might have use for the file manager in the future. :)

Love.
