Another day with few people and very short lines. This is good.

It is also the first time I was in the front seat of Space Mountain. It is a much better ride in that seat! Also, had a tiny hidden Mickey pointed out in the "boiler room" of the Tower of Terror. That was cool.

Went on Buzz Lightyear's ride for the first time. That was fun, too.

Yep it was a good day. I'm tired. Bed is calling.

Love.

I'm up again. Still a bit tired as if I had slept badly. Maybe I did.

Anyway, more about Disneyland.

We went on Splash Mountain. The little boat was faster this time around than anytime I've been on it in the past. So much so that we were splashed quite thoroughly well before the big drop. Without thinking, I went to the front of the boat. I'll be thinking of that on all further boat rides! I pushed the front of the boat down and caused more swamping action that would have happened if I sat in the back of the boat. It took hours and hours for my butt to get dry!

On California Screaming, Stacey and I were in the second row. I really want to be in the front on that one, too. As will all train style roller coasters, the ride is different for the front, middle and back. In the front of Screaming, you feel a bit more hang at the top of the loop. That is one great roller coaster. Each time we ride it, one of us comments about the need to go to Magic Mountain.

I had, for the first time, the Mexican food at C.A. Fish Tacos. Not bad. Certainly not Rubios, but not bad. On the other hand, the rice pudding was really, really wonderful. I'll be having that again!

I shrunk my jacket -- the last bit off Navy clothes -- so I had nothing of the right weight for a cool day at Disneyland. I bought a zip up sweatshirt as a souvenir. The last time I had Disneyland clothes was in 1957 -- mouse ears. I was thinking about a NBC Sweatshirt, but the only one with a front zipper wasn't quite the style I wanted. Another day for Jack. I was really, really close to buying something that said "Grumpy" on it. But I didn't find something quite right. Maybe next time. There were a couple of ball caps that were pretty close. I'll see how I feel about them then.

Love.
