Hot in San Diego. Well, not hot, just warm. And humid. Now this isn't really a problem because there is a cooling breeze. Except not in my corner of the office. Question to self: why are you still in the corner when you are typing on a laptop over a wireless connection?
Got to San Diego last night and spent six glorious hours with Stacey before putting her on a plane to NYC. Man, the timing of these trips REALLY SUCKS. She gets back from NYC at around 11pm next Thursday and then gets on a plane for San Jose at 5:30am. The fun never stops.
When I grabbed the computer off the baggage carousel, it rattled. Bad. The CPU fan had broken loose and was banging around. The side of the case was beat in a bit. The hard drives had taken a serious whack and the computer failed to run. The good news is that the hard drives survived. Something else didn't. I replaced the motherboard and cpu this afternoon and it still doesn't work. I guess it has taken out the power supply, too. Back to the store tomorrow. sigh. sigh. sigh again.
On the other hand, there is Stacey who causes the sun to rise and set in my world.
Love.
