the good, the bad and the ugly

Here I sit in Long Beach getting ready for bed after I've got -- finally -- the working demo for Ed Fallon's campaign headquarters. It' still rough, but it works. Small stuff like formatting for this round. Then I need to add "new" data that the Secretary of State sent. Then some data from the old database has to move to mine. But it is mostly done. YAY.

I'm missing San Diego a lot while I'm in Long Beach. There is a chance this gig might extend to other locations. I'm not counting on it, but there is a chance. I find that I'm not looking forward to that. Mostly, I think, it's because I really am a homebody. I'm pleased to have seen the world, and I wouldn't mind adventure trips, but business trips aren't working for me all that well.

I'm not getting into another car that my cotrainer is driving. Nor for any reason. I'm just not a thrill seeker.
