Pretty close, though.

I thought I had good backups of everything I'm using on the web. Turns out there where a few unexpected holes. A couple of DAMN BIG ONES.

I had to go through my tcl scripts to look at query statements and reconstruct the tables in three databases. I did find THREE new bugs, though. :) The scripts weren't robust enough to handle a few empty set queries. Now they are.

Some minor things to do here and there.

And all will be good (enough).

Must get the HA clusters going. MUST!

Wish I were sleepy. Wish my feet were warm. Wish I had something hot to eat.

This time, however, with no loss of data. Tomorrow morning sometime, the ngender server will be back on line. A different computer with raided disks and semi-weekly backups of the whole machine and nightly backups of the most serious bits.

I spent three hours trying to figure out why two different disks would not boot a linux kernel. Turns out there were two problems. One. The bios was set to boot off HDD1 and HDD2. The disks I wanted it boot was HDD0. The other problem was that every time I told lilo to alter the MBR on hdc1, it altered the MBR of hda1 and it did so silently. So HDD1 didn't have an MBR.

Yeah. :(

I am tired.
