Not so good.

I had a dream within a dream last night.

The outer dream was of me, the "real me" dreaming and then reacting to the dream.

The inner dream went something like this: ( cue dream sequence music )

Then I woke up from the inner dream into the outer dream. ( The rest )

Schools

Many schools of psychology have a central point that there are people types or personality types. There are lots of theories as to why this is so (assuming it is, of course). Some say it is a pattern of responses created/learned when very, very young (pre-language), some say it is purely genetic distinctions and solely determined by you biology and still others suggest that it is some of each.

I shan't wade into the debate of how or why, but I am in the camp that suggests that we each have a default "personality" that colors our interactions with others.

When I bring my conscious mind to who I am, the default me gets very little say in my life. But it never shuts up.

The default me is a lonely pessimist whose world view is hopeless.

Guess who's sitting my my chair right now. Yep. The default. It hasn't won out, but it is so loud my head hurts.

Bah.

And the really bad day

ends on a very high note.

The prodigal puppy is found.

Gwen had a marvelous day that included an afternoon barbecue. She even crossed El Cajon on her own. She's lucky she's not a dead puppy. After all, they aren't much fun.

The dog is home and had an excellent adventure.

Whew.

Today was quite warm. Tomorrow will be worse.

I was planning to go to Disneyland tomorrow, but I don't do well in the heat. I think, I work on CI scripts tomorrow.

Now, I'm off to bed. I hope I have a good dream. Maybe, I dream of a found Guen. That will be a pleasant dream, I think.
