Love Language

I think the quiz is intended to be answered in terms of love in a primary, romantic/sexual relationship. I don't have one nor do I want one. I took the quiz eight times. For each round, I had a different person in mind. The results varied quite a bit in a few areas.

Always at the top, though, was Quality Time. Always at the bottom was Receiving of Gifts. The other three categories moved around. The only surprise to me was the relative value that receiving Acts of Service got. I would have guessed it to be always just above Gifts.

When I thought about it, though, I realized that I really do feel loved when certain people contribute to me. I think it has something to do with someone being slightly out of their comfort zone to contribute to me.

Oh wow

I was just in the bathroom shaving when I was suddenly overcome by waves of emotional warmth. I have no idea what triggered it. I'd certainly like to know so I could bring that on again.

The sense of well-being that came with that was nothing short of spectacular. And it lasted for several minutes.

I'm still in the afterglow of it.
