A long day yesterday.

Spent the day canvassing in Hillcrest. Lots of interest but very little money. I did -- finally -- get contributions. Small ones from starving students. But something at least.

Then the SELP. The evening didn't quite go as planned, but it was a powerful night.

Today, I am tired. I'll make programs when I get home from the day job, then take a nap.

Saturday afternoon will find me at Imperial Country fairgrounds. Two hours top get there, four hours there and two hours to get back. Nice long day. :) And Sunday I'm going to a movie at La Paloma with a group.

Life is very full.

A good day

Today I canvased at UCSD near the Price Center. The campus was pretty dead, but I did manage to have decent conversations with 53 people. Eight of them contributed a total of $100 and thus, I passed the hurdle to go from "training" to "staff." It makes a big difference in how much I'm being paid and how quickly I will move up.

Those of you living in San Diego who would like to help us out can do so in many ways. One easy way is to suggest to me (by comment) good locations for our street canvassing. The land on which we stand must be PUBLIC land. That is (more or less) the only restriction.
